Castlegar GAA Club held a fundraising BBQ in McHughs on Friday September 2nd at 8pm.
The Barbeque was in memory of Cormac Connolly who sadly passed away recently and proceeds will be divided evenly between the GAA Club and Cancer Care West. Tickets were €20 each and are available from any of the committee members of managers. There was also a raffle on the night with top prize of two tickets to the All-Ireland Hurling Final. Tickets for the raffle were €5 each. There were loads of other prizes won. It was a great club night and a very worthy cause.
Additional Thanks:
A big thanks to everyone who supported our fundraising BBQ in memory of Cormac Connolly . Despite the terrible weather the evening was a great success with the Club really coming together for a great cause. Thanks to Brian in McHughs and all of our sponsors who provided the food and spot prizes. Special thanks to Pat O’Brien and the organising committee for making the BBQ such a success.
